Etna Rosso DOC Siciliane 750ml - Tenuta Boccarossa

Our ETNA ROSSO grows on lavastone at the altitude of 750m ASL and is produced from hand selected grapes of Nerello Mascalese from an wineyard located in Passopisciaro in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo - Porcaria on the northern slopes of Mount Etna.

fermentation: traditional fermentation in little open vats with a high percentage of whole grapes under daily manual punching (pigeage) for 10 to 12 days

maturation: barrique and inox steel vessels for about 15 months until it gets imbotteled, unfiltered

colour: rubin red, lively with slight nuances of violet

aroma: intense, rich and complex, with a note of little red wild berries

taste: juicy, layered, balanced and elegant, typical acid vein that gives a sense of freshness, good structure and persistence

alcoholic content: 14 degrees

serving temperature: 16/17 degrees

aging potential: 5-10 years
