Puiten Pinot Grigio DOC 750ml - Schreckbichl Colterenzio

Puiten is the selection-level Pinot Grigio from Colterenzio (Schreckbichl), a cooperative winery based in Girlan in the Overetsch area of Alto Adige. The grapes are grown in vineyards with medium-heavy, gravelly and sandy soils, producing 56 hl/ha. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 18 degrees Celsius for around 14 days, with part of the wine also fermented in large oak casks. The two portions are aged separately on fine lees for six months before being blended prior to bottling. The wine has a residual sugar of 1.2 g/l and a total acidity of 5.9 g/l, giving it a dry, well-structured profile with cellaring potential of three to five years.
