Description
Doré's Champagne "Cuvée Origine" Premier Cru Brut is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier, a variety grown in Ludes, a Premier Cru in the Montagne de Reims. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately, with approximately 20% Vin de Réserve added to the base wine. Subsequently, after a brief stint in stainless steel, the sparkling base undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle according to the Methode Champenoise, with 48 months of aging on the lees.
Doré's Champagne "Cuvée Origine" Premier Cru Brut is a luminous golden yellow with a fine and persistent perlage. Its nose is fine, elegant, minerally, and mellow, with notes of peach and melon. On the palate, it is substantial, with a generous, minerally texture. Its exotic finish features a citrus bouquet composed of notes of grapefruit, peach, and mango. Doré's "Cuvée Origine" takes you on a journey. It's a champagne that needs time to express its full potential. It holds the promise of unknown treasures.
