Honey & Apples

Nothing reminds us of the land as much as the apples that grow from its trees. The apples used to prepare this treat was cut into thin slices and dried on racks in an old-fashioned way to preserve the nutrients and aroma of the fruit. It is then soaked in aromatic honey to become a healthy and exquisite treat.

How to consume
It is best combined with plain yoghurt as breakfast or with strong cheeses, such as blue cheese. It can be used to garnish an apple pie, added to toasted bread with butter or to glaze a roasted pork belly.
